Línea rota de horizonte Línea rota de horizonte is an enormous installation that establishes a dialogue with the structures of the city itself and its relationship with nature, in many cases mistreated and neglected or, as in this case, mutilated. It narrates the relationship of nature with the urban space through those felled trees characteristic of the parks and streets of many cities (in this case very common in Madrid), with their grilles that imprison them, and often full of cigarette butts that surround them to convert them into large urban ashtrays. We are constantly seeing this fragmentation of nature that accompanies the city, turning spaces into small urban tombs or small tree-lined cemeteries. In the installation, we find a single bronze tree that stands out from the whole as a tribute, or monument, to this compressed landscape.
