How my Brazilian library feeds on fragments of a concrete reality refers to the skyscrapers of Rio de Janeiro. It represents an important political and expansionist period in Brazil. The rise of modern architecture gave rise to a new form of cultural expression that overlapped with indigenous architecture. The materials used: concrete, Brazilian architectural publications and 9 mm bullets, are emblematic of an era of urbanization that has been synonymous with globalization and homogenization of the urban landscape and the social problems that result from it (Carlos Garaicoa)
