This series stems from the desire to return to painting on wood, an exercise I have been
doing since 2019, when I first presented the installation Paisajes de trabajo / Working
Landscapes in Brazil. The result is a group of geometric associations whose volumes and
Cartesian profiles allude once again to architecture and the city as a backdrop. The fine
line between architecture and design, geometric and figurative art, planes of color and
restrained sobriety, constitute the genesis of this series of paintings which, following the
logic of the Greek alphabet, remind us of the relationship, so close and vast at the same
time, between the language of art and the universe of mathematics.
