At Bend CityI tried to play with the idea of transforming papers into a sculpture. I used the malleability of paper to construct a city and several monuments, simply by cutting and folding a sheet of A3 paper. Bend City It evokes some of the sculptural gestures of the early Russian avant-garde and certain visual concepts of Brazilian Neoconcretism. He tries to appropriate these forms in order to create a visual space full of formal tensions that suggest possible and utopian worlds at the same time. Likewise, these structures refer to the essence of sculptural and architectural creation as primary forms. (Carlos Garaicoa)
