S.T.(Alcantarillas) is proposed as a blow to the face of the factual powers of European democracy. Conceived as a series of sewers that were intended to be placed in the urban space, they harbor the voice of the public manifestation and the citizen’s discomfort as an artistic proposal. S.T.(Alcantarillas) offers an alternative to the citizen demand and at the same time turns it into a tombstone, or a kind of monument to its own struggle. It is torn between the most direct urban action and its bourgeois reification Between being the center of the fears of the conservative and governmental hegemony and becoming its own useless and petrified mask.
