They are very old models (Austria, ca. 1900), which were used in teaching to exemplify the formation of crystals. Garaicoa places them on a plinth designed specifically in each case, and uses them as a starting point, turning them into a kind of hanger from which hang elements of wood and glass. Somehow, these sculptures have become a point of convergence of several of his most recent works, the recreations of cities in glass of the Fragile Project series,    <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fragile Project,<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> the phytomorphic elucubrations of <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fragile Garden <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and, on the other hand, ,<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the wood paintings <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">,of the \u03c0=3,1416 series, <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">which have come together in this group of sculptures to, once again, express their interest in contemporary architecture and layout as a central axis from a perspective that highlights the contrasts between design and architecture, abstract and figurative art, planes of color and transparencies, or the solidity and fragility of the materials that come to remind us of our <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">modus vivendi.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element
