The proposal Tribute to the Six \/ Homenaje al seis, based on the number \u201c6\u201d located at Reina and Belascoa\u00edn, constitutes a different proposal within the group of interventions carried out in Havana during the 1990s. Due to its purely visual character and its deep-rooted functional references (number used to indicate the mileage of a street), this plaque does not address a specific contextual reality, nor does it seek to disrupt or reread the referents of this context, but rather to make a visual rethinking of it in its monetization.<\/span>
<\/span>The hermeticity of the visual does not promote it, and even less the characteristics of the place itself, but it does take up from another principle: a new approach of the eye to the urban banal.<\/span>
